Acceptable Use Policy
What you can and cannot create, upload or download on ColoringPages, how prompts, photos and generated images are moderated, and what happens when the rules are broken.
Effective date: September 25, 2026
This policy applies to everything you type, upload, create or download on coloringpages.tools. It is part of our Terms of Service. ColoringPages is built for family-friendly coloring pages, and the rules below apply to the AI coloring page generator, the photo to coloring page tool and the AI colorizer alike.
Content you must not create or upload
You must not use prompts, photos or any other input to create, or try to create, any of the following.
- Pornography and sexual content (NSFW). Nudity, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive images, and sexual fetish content.
- Violence and gore. Graphic injury, blood and gore, torture, killing, and content that promotes terrorism or violent extremism.
- Hate speech. Content that attacks or demeans people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age, including hate symbols.
- Child-unsafe content. Any content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers children. We have zero tolerance for this: we block it, close the account and report it to the authorities where the law requires.
- Deepfakes and impersonation. Images of real people without their permission, including celebrities, public figures and political figures; making someone appear to do or say something they did not; and fake official material such as IDs or documents.
- Copyright and trademark infringement. Copyrighted characters and franchises from films, TV shows, games, books or toys, and brands, logos and trademarks you do not own.
Also not allowed: content that promotes self-harm or suicide, harassment of any person, and anything illegal where you live or where the content will be used.
Photos and drawings you upload
Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use. Photos of your own family are fine; for anyone else, ask first, and for a child, ask a parent or guardian. Do not upload scans of someone else's artwork or coloring books, cartoon stills or product packaging.
The same goes for the AI colorizer: color your own drawings, pages from our library, your own creations, or pages you have the right to use.
How we moderate content
- Before generation. Every prompt is checked against our blocklist of prohibited terms (sexual content, child safety, gore, hate, self-harm, deepfakes of public figures, and well-known characters and brands) then by Waffo Pancake's Prompt Sift safety check and by SeeAPI's automated content moderation service. Every uploaded photo or drawing is checked by SeeAPI before a page is drawn or colored.
- Before you see a result. Every generated image is checked by SeeAPI again before it is shown to you or can be downloaded. An image that fails is deleted and never delivered.
- Records and review. We keep a record of each moderation decision and review reports from users by hand. We update the blocklist when records or reports show something it missed.
A blocked prompt, a refused photo or a refused result never uses credits. Automated filters do not catch everything, so these rules apply whether or not something is blocked. If an original idea is blocked by mistake, try describing your own character instead of naming an existing one, or contact us.
Do not misuse the service
- Do not try to get around moderation, for example by misspelling blocked words or splitting a request across prompts.
- Do not bypass download limits or human verification, for example with multiple accounts, automated scripts or rotating IP addresses.
- Do not scrape, mirror or bulk download the library.
- Do not resell, share or transfer your account, credits or access.
- Do not interfere with the site, attempt to access other people's accounts or files, or probe our systems for vulnerabilities without permission.
- Do not redistribute or resell library files. See License & Usage Rights for what is allowed.
What we do when the rules are broken
Depending on how serious the violation is, we may:
- block the prompt or photo and refuse the result;
- delete generated files and uploaded photos that break this policy;
- remove unused credits from the account, without a refund;
- suspend or permanently close the account; and
- report the content to the appropriate authorities, which we always do for child-unsafe content where the law requires.
Repeated attempts to get around moderation lead to suspension.
Report content or appeal a decision
To report a generated image, an upload or behavior that breaks this policy, email support@coloringpages.tools with a description and, if you have it, the page link or task ID. We review every report by hand, remove content that breaks this policy, and reply by email.
If you think we blocked something or took action on your account by mistake, reply to our email or write to the same address and tell us why. We will review the decision again.
