Copyright & DMCA Policy
How to report content on ColoringPages that you believe infringes your copyright, and how we handle notices and counter-notices.
Effective date: September 23, 2026
We respect the rights of artists and creators. Our library is built to avoid copyrighted characters, celebrities and brands, and our AI generator blocks prompts that name well-known characters and brands. If you believe something on coloringpages.tools still infringes your copyright, please tell us.
How to send a copyright notice
Email support@coloringpages.tools with the subject line "DMCA Notice" and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The URL of each page or file on coloringpages.tools that you want removed.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
What happens next
When we receive a complete notice, we review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material. We let you know when we have acted, and we notify the account holder if the material came from a user account.
Counter-notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice". Include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the material that was removed and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which ColoringPages may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant tells us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
Please be accurate
Under Section 512(f) of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages. If you are not sure whether material infringes your rights, consider seeking legal advice first.
