Cat and Yarn Ball Coloring Page

About this page

One paw is planted on top of a large ball of yarn while a kitten bends its head down to study it. The eyes look at the ball and the nose points slightly downward. The yarn fills the lower left of the page and is wrapped in curved bands that follow the shape of the sphere, so it looks like a striped ball ready for color. The kitten sits behind it with the other front paw and a back foot showing at the bottom, and a short tail curls up on the right. Everything is drawn with bold lines and fairly large spaces. The yarn bands are a nice first step into repeating shapes, which makes this a friendly page for kids who are ready to color a little more than one single shape.
