Cat in a Basket Coloring Page

About this page

Nestled inside a low, oval basket, a cat sits with its head raised and both front paws laid over the edge at the lower left. Its eyes are wide and its mouth is a gentle curve. The body fills the basket and the tail disappears around the right side. The basket is drawn with a few wide woven bands that cross over and under, plus a thick braided rim, so the weave is only a handful of big rectangles rather than a tiny pattern. No background fills the page. With clear shapes and an easy weave, this page asks little of small hands. It suits kids who like cozy animals and want to try a little pattern without much effort.
