Baby Dinosaur Hatching Coloring Page

About this page

A baby dinosaur pops its head and both hands out of a cracked eggshell, smiling wide at the viewer. The jagged top edge of the shell frames its neck, which has soft belly bands, and a few small bumpy plates rise behind its head. The dinosaur has a rounded snout with a small nostril and big shiny eyes. The shell is a big oval with round and oval spots of different sizes scattered over it, and the crack line zigzags around the top. There is no background, so the egg and hatchling are all you see on the page. The big smooth egg, with its spots and zigzag edge, is a clear place to try patterns, and the head is simple to color. It is an easy page that suits toddlers and young kids.
