Trotting Horse Coloring Page

About this page

Prancing to the right, this horse trots with its head high and a slightly open smile. Its mane lifts back in a few big, curved locks as if caught by the breeze, and the tail lifts in a similar bunch behind the hindquarters on the left. The two front legs are bent forward, one reaching far out, while the hind legs push off behind, so the horse looks light on its feet. A thin ellipse under the hooves works as a simple ground line and there is nothing else on the page. Muscles are suggested with only a few curved lines at the shoulder and chest. The outlines are bold and the shapes large, which keeps the picture easy to color. It suits kids who want an energetic horse that is not too complicated.
