01About

About this book

It opens with a round wreath of oak leaves around a basket of apples and pears, an owl on an oak branch inside an oval frame of tiny leaves, and a fox asleep on a fringed, patterned blanket ringed by mushrooms and acorns. Next come three pumpkins buried in sunflowers, patterned rain boots beside a closed umbrella in the rain, and a squirrel eating an acorn next to a hollow stump. The second half shows a cottage between leafy trees, a cluster of mushrooms in front of tall ferns, a tea table with a teapot, cups, apples and cinnamon sticks, a wheelbarrow of pumpkins and corn, a symmetrical arrangement of sunflowers, corn and gourds, and a river landscape with geese flying overhead. Expect fine feather, seed and leaf-vein detail and many small spaces, suited to colored pencils or fine-tip markers.

05Ideas

Coloring ideas for this book

  • Work with a limited fall palette of rust, mustard, olive, plum and cream across all twelve pages.
  • Color the leaf borders and wreaths last, so you can match them to the center scene.
  • Shade the pumpkins and gourds with two layers of pencil, dark at the ribs and light in the middle.
  • Leave some background leaves uncolored to keep the busier pages from looking crowded.

10FAQ

Questions about this coloring book

How do I download this coloring book?

Choose the A4 or US Letter PDF. The file contains all 12 pages in order. Downloading coloring books needs a free account; free accounts can download 1 book a day.

How should I print it?

Print at 100% or "actual size" in portrait orientation. Print one-sided if you plan to use markers, so ink does not bleed onto the next page.

Which age or skill level is this book for?

All pages in a book share one level: detailed pages fill the sheet with fine lines and many small areas, for teens and adults. Every page is also free to download on its own if you want to mix levels.

Can I see a page in color before printing?

Yes. Open any page from the book and choose Color with AI to paint it in a crayon, marker, watercolor, pastel, storybook or realistic style. AI coloring uses 2 credits and the result stays private to your account; the PDF itself stays black and white.

Can I add a name page to the book?

Yes. The free name coloring page maker writes any name in outline letters on a matching background. Download it as A4 or Letter and print it as the first sheet of the book.

Can I use the book with a class or group?

Library pages are free for personal, family, classroom and other non-commercial use. Reselling or redistributing the files is not allowed; see the License page for details.
