Puppy Playing a Xylophone Coloring Page

About this page

Perched on its haunches with a wide smile, a puppy taps a toy xylophone using two round-tipped mallets held in its front paws. The instrument sits at the bottom of the page and consists of five bars of graduated length on a wooden frame, each bar marked with two small screw dots. The puppy's head is tilted slightly, its ears hang down on both sides, and a small tuft of hair stands up on top. A curled tail pokes out at the left, and the back paw peeks out at the lower left. With no background, the bars and the frame are the main structure to color. Five separate bars suggest a rainbow, which makes the page a natural fit for colorful experiments. A medium page for kids who like music and clear, chunky shapes.
