01About
About this page
A smooth-bodied reef shark glides to the right in the upper half of the page, with a pointed snout, a calm eye and a few curved gill lines behind the head. Its tall dorsal fin, long pectoral fin and forked tail are drawn with clean outlines and very little interior shading. Below it, a compact mound of coral rises from the seabed, with two large brain-like domes, a feathery fan in front, tube sponges at the upper right and leafy plate corals at the right edge. Rounded sponge shapes pile up at the left and bottom, and small stones lie on the sandy floor. Two small striped fish swim at the left and one at the right, and bubbles rise on both sides. The open water gives plenty of space for a smooth gradient, a good match for adults who want a medium-detail page.
