Parrot on a Swing Coloring Page

About this page

A small parrot sits on a plain wooden swing hanging from two straight ropes that run up to the top edge of the page. It grips the seat with both feet and looks to the right with a wide-open smile. Its crest lifts back, its eye is large and round, one folded wing is shown on the left with a few scalloped feathers, and three long tail feathers hang down below the seat. The swing is made of two vertical lines and a flat board, which means the frame is easy to fill with a single color. The parrot is centered, with generous white space on both sides. Because of the tall layout and simple shapes, this easy page is a good fit for kids and a nice companion to playground themes.
