Mermaid and Sea Turtle Coloring Page

About this page

A young mermaid glides through the water on the left while a small sea turtle swims toward her on the right. She has long wavy hair with a flower tucked above one ear, a shell-style top, and a scaled tail that sweeps down and to the left into a broad, ribbed fin. Both of her arms reach outward as if she is greeting the turtle, whose spotted shell, round smiling face and paddle-like flippers fill the upper right. Small bubbles of different sizes drift across the open water. Along the bottom edge sit three plants on little pebble mounds: a seaweed clump on each side and a cluster of tall tube-shaped corals in the middle. The shell panels and scales make neat small shapes, while the wide sea plants give room for bigger color blocks. It suits kids who enjoy a medium amount of detail.
