Axolotl Carrying a Satchel Coloring Page

About this page

Ready for an adventure, this axolotl walks on two feet with a small satchel slung across its body. The strap crosses from one shoulder down to the bag at its hip, and the bag has a rounded flap closed with a single button. A few round treats or pebbles poke out of the open top, as if the axolotl has been collecting something on its walk. Its happy face shows a wide grin with the tongue sticking out, and three feathery gills spread on each side of the head. One hand holds the strap and the other swings loose. The tail stretches back to the left with a curved stripe along it, and the feet are drawn mid-step. Clean outlines and medium-size spaces make the bag, strap and body easy to color, with just enough detail in the gills to keep older kids busy.
