Axolotl with an Umbrella Coloring Page

About this page

Rain is falling, but this axolotl is ready. It stands upright and holds a small umbrella over its head by a long handle that ends in a curved hook. The umbrella canopy is split into panels with a tiny knob on top and little tips around its scalloped edge. Three big raindrops hang in the air above the umbrella, one on each side and one higher in the middle. Under the umbrella, the axolotl beams with a wide open smile, and its frilly gills poke out on both sides. It stands on two short feet, and the tail curves out to the right. The large umbrella panels and the teardrop shapes are easy areas to color, and the page leaves plenty of white space around the figure, so it reads clearly from across a room when displayed.
