Axolotl in a Coral Arch Coloring Page

About this page

A curious axolotl pokes its head and hands through the middle of a round coral arch. The arch is a thick, bumpy ring dotted with oval holes, and three branching coral stems sprout from its top, one in the center and one at each upper side, each ending in hollow tube tips. Inside the ring, the axolotl smiles with its tongue showing, and its feathery gills stand out on both sides of its head. Its little hands grip the bottom of the ring as if it is about to climb through, and a little of its striped side shows behind them. The ring makes a natural frame, so the picture looks like a portrait in a round window. The oval holes and coral branches offer many small spaces, and the center stays simple for the face.
