Mermaid and Fish Friend Coloring Page

About this page

Leaning forward a little, a mermaid holds out her open hand toward a small striped fish on the left, and the two seem to be saying hello. The fish has a round body with two wide stripes, a rounded eye, a small smile and fins on top, bottom and tail. The mermaid has long wavy hair that blows back to the right, a sleeveless top with a V-shaped waist and a tail that curves down to a large fin at the lower left. The page has no seaweed or rocks, so the white space around the two characters feels open and the gap between her hand and the fish is the main point of the scene. The broad areas make it an easy page that works for young kids who like animals.
